- Community Partnership
Community is at the heart of what we do. We believe that people thrive when they feel connected, included and welcomed into everyday environments. Magdelene Healthcare Services works alongside local venues, organisations and activity providers to offer varied, meaningful opportunities that reflect real life and real choice.
We don’t create isolated spaces — we build bridges into the community.
Our Community Approach
- Libraries, museums and galleries
- Cafés, leisure centres and gyms
- Local colleges and adult education services
- Parks, nature reserves and wellbeing hubs
- Art studios, music groups and creative spaces
- Community gardens, allotments and volunteer programmes
Accessibility Matters
- Identifying sensory-friendly spaces
- Reducing barriers through planning and pacing
- Adapting communication and instructions
- Quiet breaks, structured routines and emotional reassurance
- Ensuring venues are wheelchair and mobility friendly where possible
- Offering smaller group sizes for those who need it
Working With Families & Professionals
We believe progress is strongest when everyone moves together. We maintain open, respectful communication with:
- Family members and informal carers
- Social workers and assessment teams
- Day opportunity coordinators
- Advocates, health professionals and external support staff
Where personal care or CQC-regulated tasks are required, we collaborate with registered providers to ensure safe continuity of support. Our goal is seamless experience — not service fragmentation.
Future Partnerships
Magdelene Healthcare Services is committed to expanding its community network. If you represent a venue, organisation or service interested in collaborative inclusion, we welcome conversation.
The more community has to offer, the more people grow
